Children's Museum of Mythology and Forests

The exposition, located in the building of the Zaslavl forestry, begins with a gallery of images of Belarusian mythology, embodied in cobblers made by master Chervontseva. The gallery smoothly escorts visitors to the mysterious forest inhabited by mythological characters: the Swamp Man, the Mermaid, the Dinner King, the Woodsman, the Forest Grandfather (Khapunchik), Volkolak. The mythological space of the house is represented by its good spirit — Domovoy, sitting by the stove. Next to this unusual world created by the imagination of our ancestors, there is a corner of a real Belarusian forest inhabited by beasts and birds.
